A Company’s Successful 3D Journey in Fashion Design
We’ve taken a deep-dive look into how a fashion solution provider successfully transformed its design process and accelerated design and sales. In a case study published today, we chronicle what Norlanka calls its 3D journey along a digital pathway.
It’s a journey that began in 2018 and continues for the company, which designs, makes, and sells apparel to brands and retailers globally. Embodee played a key part starting last April when we partnered with Norlanka in a pilot program to test our new Orchids web platform for collaborative fashion design.
Using the platform, Norlanka shifted work from over-burdened 3D technologists to other staff. For an important project, two designers with little training created 250 3D product options for virtual presentation to a potential buyer. Using the old process without the Orchids platform would have taken them ten days. Thanks to the platform’s ease of use, they finished in two days.
